For more than twelve years, we’ve been working with FirstGroup. In that time, we’ve not only equipped them with the kind of digital tools that have helped keep them at the forefront of passenger transport in the UK - we’ve also made Spider one of the leading agencies for the Transport sector.

 

Now, our partnership with the FirstGroup is going from strength to strength. In recent months, we’ve been working on some major projects for their bus business. While we’ll be unveiling a new design for their homepage and menu, we’ve already created a new journey planner to help visitors map out their travels.

 

We’re also working on a variety of projects to make it easier for FirstGroup’s customers to purchase tickets, from integrating new payment methods like Apple Pay, Android Pay and PayPal into the checkout, to offering web-to-mobile ticketing so customers can transfer their tickets to the m-tickets app.

 

The site attracts around 1.5 million visitors every month and provides the platform for more than £175k worth of ticket sales. With these new improvements in the pipeline, we’re looking forward to helping more FirstGroup customers make many more journeys.
