We are delighted to announce that our Account Executive, Lachlan Farquharson, has successfully achieved APMG International’s Agile Project Management (AgilePM®) Foundation certification.
Eager to learn and grow in his new role, Lachlan undertook this course to deepen his understanding of project management practices and enhance the value offered to clients. Recognising the importance of agility and adaptability in today’s fast-paced business landscape, he pursued the Agile Foundation course to understand better the Agile Project Management framework, a pragmatic and repeatable methodology. This commitment reflects Lachlan’s drive to not only expand his skills but also contribute to the efficient and effective delivery of client projects.
The AgilePM Foundation course is an industry-recognised certification that introduces the core principles of Agile project management. The course provided key insights into:
- The Philosophy and Principles of Agile: Embracing a mindset focused on collaboration, adaptability, and delivering value incrementally.
- The Agile Project Lifecycle: Understanding how Agile projects are structured, including alternative configurations to suit varying needs.
- Agile Products and Their Purpose: Learning about the outputs of an Agile project, such as the Business Case and Prioritized Requirements List, and how they contribute to project success.
- Agile Techniques: Exploring tools like MoSCoW prioritization and timeboxing, including their benefits and limitations in different scenarios.
- Roles and Responsibilities: Gaining clarity on key roles within an Agile team, ensuring collaboration and accountability are embedded in every project stage.
